Looks like an interesting setup and sounds like it's really working. That is pretty darn cool if you can swallow the price tag.

Anyone else seriously consider hydrogen?

Yea, 100K for the setup is steep, and converting electric to hydrogen, then back to electric again later will not be as efficient as using the electric directly. Also, currently, hydrogen is one of the worst efficient fuels, based on the power/energy ratio of production versus output. Times will change, and it will become more efficient, it just needs time.

But converting to hydrogen is benefital in the fact that it can be stored pretty much indefinitely without losses, (unlike batteries) and it can be easily adapted for multiple uses, like for heating and combution engine operations, in addition to the things mentioned in the article.

The technology isn't ready yet, but it will be within my lifetime.
